T1 - 25th November 2007 London Vikings 9 - Cambridge 5 London Vikings 16 - Bath Blaze 1
The maiden season of the Southern Premier League started at the end of November, with the Vikings picking up where they left off the previous year. Two clear wins over Cambridge and Bath put the team first in line for among the contenders for this years trophy.
The first game of the season proved to be the tougher of the two, both in terms of scoreline and the actual game, as Cambridge played very physically and tried to keep Vikings from getting their game rolling. This proved to be quite successful as some forced errors enabled Cambridge to pick up easy goals and turn a 5-1 lead after the first period to a much tighter 6-3 at the close of the second. The final period saw three more goals from the Londoners providing a comfortable buffer before Cambridge scored another two making the final scoreline 9-5.
The Bath game proved to be quite a different affair from the first one with both teams opting for a more open play. This proved to suit the Vikings rather well as they scored goal after goal to make it a total of 16. The defense was also tighter this time round with a clean sheet for Jan being denied only 9 seconds before the final whistle.
This years team seems to be in good shape as the games saw the return of Jukka and Torbjörn after a gap year, both putting down 7 points, and a new recruit Pekka grabbing the lead of the scoring table with 4 goals and 4 assists to his name.

T2 - 16th December 2007 London Vikings 5 - Cotswold Cobras 2 London Vikings 9 - Grantham Thundercats 2
The first match of the season against the main challenger for the title saw a slightly nervy start by the Vikings and a tight defensive gameplan by the Cobras. The game stayed tight for the first 2 periods, although the Vikings managed to get and keep a slight lead throughout the game. For the third period the game opened as the Cobras were forced to press harder in an attempt to equalise, and the Londoners scored a few quick goals to seal the game.

T3 - 13th January 2008 London Vikings 14 - Cambridge 1 London Vikings 22 - Bath Blaze 2
The opposition being short of players meant two easy wins for the Vikings squad, especially in the second game when the goal scoring was put on rapid-fire. Attack proved to be the best defence here as Jan had a relaxed session between the posts and a total of 3 goals scored against in the 120 minutes played.

T5 - 24th February 2008 10.35 - London Vikings 5 - Cambridge 0 (Cancelled) 15.20 - London Vikings 16 - Bath Blaze 7
With Cambridge pulling out of the tournament due to a lack of players the first match went down as 5-0 into the books and a surprise friendly was quickly arranged with the Cobras. The game was won by the Vikings, with Johan proving to be the main difference between the teams this time round by the virtue of a few well placed top corner shots. A penalty shoot-out followed with an extra round given to the keepers at the end, and both capitalising on their chances to put the ball past each other.
For Bath third time didn't prove any luckier, although they managed to increase their scoring over three-fold from previous encounters. The game was over after the first period with the Vikings taking a decisive lead early on and only letting go in the end as the players swapped places with the attackers trying to defend.
