London Vikings British Champions 2010 after clearly outperforming every team at GB Nationals 2010, but where were the opposition?

A great weekend away in Bath, excellent weather and a massive self-catered cottage to ourselves with proper Finnish sauna and massive garden. Could we ask for anything more?

The team

The answer unfortunately proved to be yes. GB Nationals this year failed to attract a majority of Scottish teams and players and both rivaling London teams either wasn't brave enough to attend or just didn't feel like playing Floorball in early June.

A tournament which is meant to be the event of the year in British Floorball was a clear dissapointment for most if not all the players in Vikings. A somewhat bitter end to a season that offered many exciting challenges both on and off the pitch. It's a pitty that from a quality of Floorball perspective GB Nationals clearly failed to deliver what is says on the tin in 2010. GBFUA - next year we have to see a massive improvement!!!
